UISS is the perfect way to cultivate or continue passion for Sweden and the Swedish language. The actual language program was just as engaging as it was informative and, other than the 8:30am start, found myself really looking forward to the lessons each day. I found myself learning Swedish in both my morning and afternoon classes, everyday noticing little improvements in all aspects on my grasp of the language.
It was the perfect introduction into living in Sweden. Even though a major proportion of the students are international, I found myself interacting with plenty of Swedes. These interactions came about from simply buying a coffee or having a 20 minute chat at a nations (pub). Most younger people in Sweden tend to be very willing to help you on your language skills.
All in all I had a fantastic 3 weeks, met lots of interesting people, had a lot of fun and most importantly definitely improved my Swedish skills
